This Last Race

So I have not been paddling well, and so I am a little upset with this. I came close this last weekend to paddling well but it only earned me a 41st place finish. This makes me very motivated to do better at the next race only an 18 hours drive away. I will really push it during this next week of training and try to have a good result at the last race before the olympics.

On another note, I watched as the American kayaks competed for their olympics spots. Yesterday in qualifying, all three americans finished in the top 10. Today Scott Mann and Scott Parsons are in the top 10 with Brett Heyl in 14. Brett is out of the competition, he put a great run down and some touches put him in 14th. Brett, you are the man, and same goes for Mann, and Parsons.

I am very proud of all three guys, its a great race to watch, in one hour, Parsons and Mann will race to decide who goes to the Olympics, I wish the best for both of these guys.

Cheers

In preparation for the Olympics I have had to talk with many people about interviews and such. This has been alright and I have talked with a lot of neat people but now I am feeling like it does not stop. I just wanted to express these feelings. I will be fine and I will do all the interviews no problem. To describe it, the only word I can think to say is WOW, so many questions. Oh well, bring it on, I will rest after the olympics.

Cheers

After a disappointing race in Prague, I got sick my last night and had to drive sick about 8 hours I think to Tacen for the next race. I arrived in Slovenia on Monday night, stayed in my bed almost all of tuesday, tried to paddle wed. but had a huge headache. Now Thursday, I am well again. I paddled for a short time this morning, eat lunch, played volleyball, and now I am on my way to paddle. I am almost back to normal, hopefully for the race will be fine.

I will let you know more soon
