        Training went well yesterday and things are starting to happen.
        Tomorrow, we have a welcoming ceromony at the village to welcome
        Chile. The next day we have a presentation of our flag at the Chilean
        Embassy in Beijing. The next day after that, we have the opening

        Well, sorry ya'll for not writing sonner, had some technical dificulties. All is well now. So what have I been up to?

        Today, I finally received my credentials for the games. These serve as my visa to get into China. So I was a little stressed about not having them given that I leave this coming sunday.         I have been tired. I am back to a wonderful home. Some friends came over last night to play Cranium. Had a wonderful time. After the long trip in Europe, I arrived with a lot of dirty clothes, all better now, clean and smelling good.

        So I have not been paddling well, and so I am a little upset with this. I came close this last weekend to paddling well but it only earned me a 41st place finish. This makes me very motivated to do better at the next race only an 18 hours drive away. I will really push it during this next week of

        It is beautiful in Augsburg. We have a great hotel walking distance from the course, the weather is perfect, We have gone swimming, sunbathed, paddled, eat great italian and german food. What can I say, Life is Good, especially now that I am not sick. Hope all goes well.

        After a disappointing race in Prague, I got sick my last night and had to drive sick about 8 hours I think to Tacen for the next race. I arrived in Slovenia on Monday night, stayed in my bed almost all of tuesday, tried to paddle wed. but had a huge headache. Now Thursday, I am well again. I padd

        Training is well, after having to rest for a couple days with minimal training because of the effects of the beijing course and jet lag, I am back to my normal self. This is very nice because I can now paddle hard again.

        Well, After taking another half day off, I took this opportunity to visit The Great Wall of China. This was a great experience. Amazing place. It was a very hot day also, so I am sweating a lot. But it was worth it.

        Today, I had the day off, I thought to go paddle anyways on flat water early in the morning but when I woke, I decided this was not a good idea. I kept with the plan of taking the full day off.

        I woke up early at 6 am. This felt great. I went to the hotel lobby, worked on my computer, att breakfast and I am now ready for the days training. After several days of not waking up full of energy, I thought I might never recover from jet lag but alas I have.
